Professor Kenneth Katkin appears frequently in local and national media as an analyst for current legal issues and trials.
Prior to coming to Chase in 2000, Professor Katkin litigated constitutional and telecommunications law cases with the Washington, D.C., firm of Wiley, Rein & Fielding. His clients included America Online, CBS, McCain for President 2000, the Media Access Project, Pacific Bell, Southwestern Bell, Clear Channel Communications and the Washington Legal Foundation. Before entering private practice, he was a law clerk for Judge David M. Ebel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, at Denver. Before attending law school, he worked as an artists and repertoire director for several independent record companies, and as a non-commercial radio disc jockey and talk show host.
Professor Katkin holds a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Princeton University.
