Description: There are many factors a lawyer must consider when advising clients on their valuable trademark assets. This course covers major topics in domestic trademark law, such as subject-matter, distinctiveness, genericness, the likelihood of confusion test, dilution, cybersquatting, social media trademark use and misuse, and various enforcement mechanisms, paying close attention to the interplay of technology and law on brands.
